Can I try it before buying?
Yes. We set up a trial on your own devices, with the console configured, so you see how it really behaves and not a lab demo.
I already have antivirus with an active license. Do I lose what I paid?
No need to throw it away. We can plan the migration to start when your current license expires, and in the meantime have the assessment done for you.
Does it really protect me from ransomware?
ESET works in layers: it blocks the email with the attachment, stops suspicious behavior even if the threat is new, and in the higher tiers lets you roll back the encryption. No tool guarantees 100%; what does change the outcome is having it properly configured and with someone reviewing it.
Cloud or installed on my servers?
Both work. The cloud saves you from maintaining a console server; on-premises works when internal policy requires that nothing leave your network.
Is Small Business Security enough for me?
If you have fewer than 25 devices and no in-house IT staff, yes. If you already have servers, corporate email or someone managing things, PROTECT is the better fit because of the central console.
How do I count my devices?
Every computer, server and phone used for work counts as one. If you don't have a clear inventory, we put it together for you in the assessment.
Does Cloud Office Security replace Microsoft 365 security?
No. It's a layer added to what Microsoft or Google already include: ESET's own antispam, anti-phishing, anti-malware and sandbox, with its own console and quarantine. It connects through your tenant's API, so there's nothing to install on your devices.
Can I try Cloud Office Security before paying for it?
Yes. ESET offers a trial subscription of up to 25 seats. We connect it to your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and leave it configured so you can measure the results with your own email.
