The pain

The day that server goes down, your company stops.

It's not drama: it's arithmetic. If your system lives there, without it you don't invoice, you don't ship and you don't collect. And right now nobody is watching it.

It's under a desk

A tower in a corner of the office, plugged into the same outlet as the coffee maker. No generator, no dedicated air conditioning and nobody checking whether the disk is dying. When the power goes out on a Friday, your operation is out until Monday.

Or it's on cheap hosting that doesn't respond

You pay $12 a month, and that's exactly why there's nobody on the other end. You open a ticket on a Saturday and they reply on Tuesday, in English, asking you to run commands you don't understand. That server is yours in the worst sense: so are its problems.

Or it depends on a single person

The technician who set it up left, charges by the hour when he shows up, or simply doesn't answer anymore. Nobody else has the passwords or knows how it's put together. Your continuity depends on that person still finding it worthwhile to take care of you.

And the worst part isn't that it goes down. It's that you'll find out from a customer, not from an alert.

What it is, in plain English

A VPS is your server, but in a real data center.

Instead of having a computer in your office acting as a server, you rent a guaranteed portion of a professional machine: with backup power, high-speed internet, cooling and people looking after it. Your cores, your memory and your disk are yours; they aren't shared.

It's not shared hosting

With shared hosting, if your neighbor gets an avalanche of visitors, your site slows down. Here the resources are yours: nobody else uses them.

It's not “the cloud” as a vague concept

It's a specific machine, with a specific IP address, in a specific data center. You can log into it, and so can we when you ask.

You don't have to know how to manage it

That's the difference from almost everything sold in Panama. We hand it to you working, and from then on we maintain it.

What do people use it for? To run the company's ERP, the website, the online store, corporate email, the point-of-sale system, the database, the shared folder or that application only your team uses. If it runs on an office computer today, it runs better here.

The market's trap

Almost everyone sells you the machine. Nobody sells you someone to look after it.

It's the fine print nobody reads: “unmanaged VPS.” It means they hand you an empty computer and the rest is your problem. Compare.

How we support you

We don't sell you a server. We lend you an IT department.

Hiring VTGO means hiring the team that looks after it. Unlimited tickets, no per-request charges and nothing new for you to learn.

You ask in plain language, not in commands

“I need the system to accept connections from the Chitré branch.” That's enough. We translate that into firewall rules, not you.

Someone who already knows your server

You don't repeat your story on every ticket. There's an assigned account owner who knows what runs there, how it's put together and what can't be touched during invoicing hours.

We find out before you do

24/7 monitoring of disk, memory, services and availability. In most cases we open the incident before anyone at your company notices.

We work with a safety net

Before any risky change, a snapshot is taken. If something goes wrong, we roll back in minutes. We don't improvise on your production.

We move you ourselves

Already have something running elsewhere? We migrate it with an agreed cutover window, usually overnight, so your people don't even notice anything changed.

The access is yours regardless

We hand you the full credentials. You can log in whenever you want and take everything with you whenever you want. We don't work with hostage clients.

How to hire us

Four steps, and you're working the same day.

You don't need to know how many cores or how much memory. That's our part.

Step 1

You tell us what you'll run

What application it is and how many people use it. That's all we need. If you don't even know that, we'll figure it out together in the assessment.

Step 2

We size it and set it up

We choose the right plan — almost always smaller than you think —, install the system and leave everything ready.

Step 3

We hand you the access

You receive credentials and connection details. You start working the same day, not in two weeks.

Step 4

And you never think about it again

Any change, upgrade or incident comes in through support and we carry it out. That's the whole point.

Can I buy directly, without a meeting? Yes. Each plan has its sign-up button below and you pay online. But if you're not sure which one fits you, write to us first: we'd rather sell you the right plan than the most expensive one.

What's included

The price includes the server and all the work of managing it.

With a self-service provider, every task on this list is yours: you log into the panel, you solve it, and if something goes wrong, that's yours too. Here you request it by ticket and our team carries it out, with contractual response times and no per-request charge.

The server
  • Guaranteed resources for the plan you choose: cores, memory and disk
  • Dedicated IPv4 and IPv6, with unlimited traffic and a port of up to 1 Gbit/s depending on the plan
  • DDoS protection active 24/7 at the infrastructure level
  • 99.9% network availability
  • Full server access: we hand you the credentials
  • Same-day delivery, already configured and ready to work
Setup
  • Operating system installation: Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CentOS, openSUSE, FreeBSD or Windows Server
  • Installation and configuration of your application: WordPress, Nextcloud, GitLab, n8n, Docker, email or whatever you need
  • Web panel when applicable: Webmin, Plesk or cPanel
  • Users, SSH keys and access configured
  • SSL certificates installed and renewed on time
Day-to-day operations
  • Restarting the server or services when something hangs
  • Full system reinstall if you need to start from scratch
  • Rescue access when the server won't boot
  • Password resets, adding and removing users
  • Installing additional software and adjusting configuration
Data and backups
  • Snapshot before any risky change
  • Restore from snapshot or from backup
  • Daily off-server backup, with the retention we agree on
  • Periodic restore tests: an untested backup isn't a backup
Network and security
  • Firewall rules: which ports are opened, to whom and from where
  • Additional IPs and a private network between your servers, depending on the plan
  • DNS management: records, pointing and reverse DNS for your email
  • Access review and closing ports that shouldn't be open
Growth and maintenance
  • Increasing CPU, memory or disk when the server falls short
  • Migration to a larger plan without reinstalling everything
  • Move from your current provider, with an agreed cutover window
  • Patches and updates in an agreed window
  • 24/7 monitoring and proactive alerts before you notice

Count the lines on that list. Each one is a task nobody is doing today on your current server.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask before signing up.

I don't know anything about servers. Will it still work for me?

It's made precisely for people who don't know. You ask for what you need in plain language and we carry it out. If you knew how to manage it, you'd probably be better off with a cheaper unmanaged VPS — and we'd tell you so.

Who manages the server?

We do. Monitoring, backups, updates and incident response, with an assigned account owner. It's not an extra billed separately: it comes in the plan price.

How many tickets can I open?

As many as you need. We don't charge per request or keep count. If your server needs a lot of attention, the problem is the server and it needs fixing, not charging you to attend to it.

Can you migrate what I already have?

Yes, and we do it ourselves. With an agreed cutover window, usually overnight, so your operation doesn't even notice. Bringing a server over from another provider is one of the things we do most.

Are the backups tested?

Yes. Periodic restore tests are run, because a backup that was never restored isn't a backup: it's a folder full of hope.

What if I want to leave?

You take everything. You have full access to your server from day one and we hand over whatever is needed to migrate. No lock-in and no data held hostage.

What happens if I choose the wrong plan?

It scales up or down without reinstalling anything. We'd rather you start with the plan you really need and grow later than oversell you on day one.

15-minute call

Tell us what you're going to run and we'll tell you what server you need.

A one-hour consultation. The answer is almost always a smaller plan than people think, and we tell you anyway. You leave with the sizing in writing, even if you end up hiring someone else.

✓No commitment, no contract involved
✓If you don't need a VPS, we'll tell you
